Cursed Souls is dramatic and grim, elevated by a guest appearance from Andrii Pechatkin of White Ward and Waidelotte. Wistful sustains the shimmering bleakness, followed by the desolate yet unsettling piano interlude Through Eternity. The journey concludes — all too soon — with Pale Stars featuring co-conspirator Felvum, a final reverberation stabbing deep into the infinite void.
