NUMEN – Basque pagan black metal band return with ERRE

NUMEN reveals “Hustasuna – Oroitzapen galduen putzua”, when wrath devours soul

The Basque pagan black metal band NUMEN marks their grand return on June 12 with their fifth album, titled “Erre“. True to their roots, the record is entirely sung in Euskera, one of the oldest languages in the world.

With “Erre NUMEN delivers old-school black metal that is fast, aggressive, and deeply melodic, drawing inspiration from Nordic and Basque traditions.

Balancing raw fury with soaring progressive passages, the band crafts an intense and uncompromising sonic identity. The lyrics, staying true to the band’s essence, gain depth and introspection, further amplifying the impact of this work.

The cover art, created by Raoul / View From The Coffin, and the tracklist have just been revealed.

For fans of ’90s Nordic black metal and those who appreciate fast, aggressive, and melodic black metal rooted in the spirit of that era.
