Ana Sky at The Roxy – Live Review

Ana Sky – The Roxy, West Hollywood, CA – June 14, 2026

After a run that swept through vibrant cities across Europe and select stops throughout the States, The Genius Tour reached its grand finale at The Roxy on June 14th. Headlined by Leah Kate with direct support from Ana Sky and Mimi Foxx, the night became a celebration of fierce, female‑fronted artistry. The venue was packed to the rafters, the crowd buzzing with anticipation as rising stars took their place within the hallowed walls of the Sunset Strip landmark. And right at the center of that electricity — leaving one of the night’s most indelible impressions — was L.A.’s own Ana Sky. Many remember her opening for Jesse McCartney, and she’s even on the discovery radar of multi‑Academy Award–nominated songwriter Diane Warren, but tonight she carved out a moment entirely her own.

Ana Sky brings a sultry, dreamy brand of indie pop to the stage, and her dazzling vocals paired with a magnetic presence proved instantly intoxicating. A scientist by day and singer by night, she launched her set with the exhilarating one‑two punch of “Desire” and “Loving You Is Hard,” immediately winning over the room with her confidence and emotional clarity. “LSR” was a standout — its pulsating beat sending the night into full‑throttle, neon‑lit overdrive.

Bad Guys,” an unreleased track from her upcoming album, was warmly embraced by the crowd, hinting at a bold new chapter ahead. Ana also delivered a brilliant selection of covers, including a torch‑like, reimagined rendition of Britney Spears’ “Toxic,” which showcased her ability to reshape a pop classic into something smoky and cinematic. Throughout the set, her voice carried a blend of emotion, intrigue, and shimmering vulnerability — a sonic wonderland that felt both intimate and expansive. Special kudos to guitarist Anton, whose dynamic playing added depth, color, and a welcome edge to each song.

Remember the name Ana Sky. Judging by her stellar performance at The Roxy, this SoCal artist is destined for even bigger stages — and the world is absolutely ready for her. There’s a rare spark in her delivery, the kind that hints at an artist on the verge of a breakout moment. You could feel the room leaning in, recognizing that they were witnessing someone whose trajectory is only pointing upward. Expect Ana Sky to soar far beyond the Sunset Strip — and stay tuned.
