Innerlove give emo a twang with new single “10 In The Morning”

Debut album, Roscoe, out June 9th on Refresh Records

Long Island band Innerlove have shared their new single “10 In The Morning”. Building off their indie and emo roots, the band blend in twangy guitars that sway from soft to dynamic and vocals to match. The song addresses vices that stem from loneliness and depression, and the feelings that come alongside it. The track is the second single from the band’s debut album Roscoe, following “Ain’t Who I Wanna Be”, set for release June 9th on Refresh Records. Innerlove has also announced a June tour with Bike Routes, full routing below.

Roscoe was self-recorded by the band in a secluded house in upstate NY with guitarist Joe Rom leading production, and then mixed and mastered by Billy Mannino at Two Worlds Recording. The quartet has created an expansive sonic palette, drawing influences from artists like The Weakerthans, Weatherbox, Another Michael, and Anthony Green. Their first full-length feels like a real introduction, weaving country-tinged riffs and vocals with pop rock melodies and personable lyrics about changes that come through different stages of life. The whole of it is a confident step forward for a band that’s always shown potential. It’s clear, after listening through the record, that this is exactly who Innerlove wants to be.
