Mr. BIG at The Rose – Review and Photos

Mr. BIG, The Rose, June 24, 2017

Mr. BIG –
is one of the most underrated bands on the seen today. The band was out on their Defying Gravity Tour. The band hit the stage and the crowd was dancing and singing along from the first to the last song. The musicians that put together this band are truly spectacular. These guys hit the stage and the music is awesome, and the band seem to be just having a great time, like they are just doing a jam session in someone’s garage. Their songs are so raw and each member just brings so much talent to the band.

The band played some of their older tunes, as well as some of their new stuff. Sitting in for drummer Pat Torpey, was Matt Starr who was just crushing the drums. Eric Martin on vocals, his performance was just killer. Paul Gilbert was shredding on the guitar and had an awesome solo. Billy Sheehan, who is definitely in my top 5 greatest bass player’s was thumping away. He playing method is so sleek and fast , to see him play live is a must. The band had an awesome set and finished out the night with their cover of the WHO’s classic “Baba O’Riley”.
