Read on…

Introduce yourself, tell me you do in Alarm For War, and how long the project has been in existence.
I am Buggy, lead singer for the band Alarm For War… This project has been around for a little over a year now.

Where are you based out of and what is your music scene like there?
We are based out of Minneapolis MN… As far as I know, the music scene here is not very good right now.

Where did you come up with the project name Alarm For War?
It comes from the book of Jeremiah when he was warning the people, and he told God, I am being the alarm of war, and they are not listening.

Is there any overall story or concept behind the title Enemies Of The State?
Going against the flow, actually spreading a positive message rather than a negative.

Select two songs from Enemies Of The State and what inspired the lyrics?
Love And Not Hate– Since when did hate ever tell the truth? Lots of people think that, when someone tells them the truth, they’re being hateful. Let me ask you a question, if you see someone playing in the street, and you see a car coming endangering someone’s life, what would you do? Would you tell them to get out of the street because there is a car coming, or would you just smile and say nothing? Of course not! It would be love to tell them to get out of the street because if they didn’t, they are going to get hit by the car. This is average thinking now-a-days, which is why this song was written… setting the record straight.

Love And Not Hate is a song written to tell people the truth and letting them know that we are preaching LOVE and NOT hate. As the song goes, “Enemies of the State we’re not reprobate were preaching LOVE AND NOT HATE”… Therefore, if someone is telling you the truth, remember they love you enough to do so.

Day Turned To NightDay turned to night is a song about a kid named Zach who went through a drug rehabilitation program for a drug use. Zach was continuously being warned about his drug use, because if he did not stop, it just may claim his life. Zach refused to listen to the warnings, and soon enough, Zach was found dead in a bathroom after huffing chemicals.
God was warning Zack through people to quit it. Standing around his dead body, someone shouted out, “Where’s your God at now?” a young man replied, “The same place He was when he was warning Zach.” Don’t blame God for the warnings that went unheeded!

Who produced Enemies Of The State and what was it like working with them?
Smitty, our drummer, who is blast to work with in the studio, let me assure you! LOL 🙂

How supportive are your parents on your music career at such a young age?
They are very supportive, they both think it is a great opportunity.

What could one expect from a live Alarm For War show?
Exactly what is on the CD is what to expect live, expect to have a LOT of fun… LOL 🙂

If Alarm For War could tour with any band either now or from the past, who would it be and why?
Megadeth! In a lot of ways, Megadeth is kinda like our band… They have aggressive yelling, aggressive music, we have aggressive RAPPING, aggressive music so, it would be great to tour with them! 🙂

What is it you’d like someone to remember the most after hearing your music for the first time?
Our positive message of hope and truth!

Future plans for Alarm For War?
Reaching the masses with AFW message!
