AFTERLIFE DROPS NEW SINGLE “WASTING TIME”

After weeks of teasing, metalcore four-piece Afterlife have debuted a brand new single “Wasting Time” today.

We’re really excited to give everyone a glimpse of the new music we have been working on! While writing this song there was a lot going on within our country as well as the world, which created a powerful energy in the studio,” shares front man Tyler Levenson. “Collectively we were frustrated with society and we all desired change. We wanted this song to feel empowering and anthemic. We wanted it to be a statement that would encourage as well as inspire people. I really think we nailed that with “Wasting Time” and we hope you enjoy it!

Fans can stream “Wasting Time” today at smarturl.it/AfterlifeWastingTime.

This is the first new piece of music from the band since their debut album Breaking Point, which was released via Hopeless Records earlier last year. The album gained immense praise from fans while garnering adds to Spotify’s Rock Hard, New Core and New Blood playlists, Amazon’s Fresh Hard Rock and The Forge UK playlists and Pandora’s New Rock station. Additional support from BBC Radio 1, Kerrang!, idobi Howl and Alternative Press as well as multiple Number 1 spots on Sirius XM Octane has helped propel Afterlife into headphones of listeners around the world.

The album ambitiously tackling a variety of impactful topics from mental health and domestic assault to political apathy and the weight of guilt over the course of 10 unique tracks that blend influences like Slipknot, Linkin Park and modern hip-hop. Breaking Point is available to stream and purchase at http://smarturl.it/afterlifebp.

Blending singing, screaming and rapping over a heavy, yet satisfyingly melodic landscape for a unique sound coupled with socially conscious lyrics, Afterlife are poised to influence this generation of heavy music.

Afterlife is vocalist Tyler Levenson, guitarist Andrew McGuire, drummer Luke Walkinshaw and bassist Tristan Edwards.
