Dallas metalcore band Last Night of Solace to release Kenopsia on February 9th

Based out of the legendary Deep Ellum music scene deep in the heart of Dallas, Texas, Last Night of Solace is destined to make their own waves above and beyond the Lone Star State. Where the genres of metalcore, deathcore, and emo collide is where you’ll find Last Night of Solace, delivering the sonic goods with a massive amount of heart and intensity. The bands have played the iconic So What and Monster Mosh Music Festivals, and has packed local venues all over Dallas and another neighboring musical mecca known as Austin.

Cameron explains being a band from Dallas: “I absolutely love the Dallas music scene and it’s given me a multitude of opportunities I wouldn’t find anywhere else. The heavy music scene in particular is amazing, there’s a reason many touring metal bands say Texas has the best shows. The energy and camaraderie is second to none. There’s no place I’d have rather gotten my start.

The Last Night of Solace lineup is solid and has made a connection with fans all over the world due to their dynamic music and consistent social media presence. Cameron Foley is the charismatic frontman delivering the impassioned lyrics with a massive amount of conviction. The thrilling two guitar assault force is brought to you with skill and precision by Jeiden Lovell and Kennedy Boynton. Austin Hunt supplies a stunning low end on bass and 16-year-old Seth Andy is an absolute beast on drums.

In 2023, Last Night of Solace self-released their debut full length endeavor entitled Too Far Gone, featuring guest appearances from Concepts, Notions, and Tom Barber from Chelsea Grin and Lorna Shore. The band would make a connection with Kellin Quinn of Sleeping With Sirens when they played So What Fest, resulting with Kellin contributing his vocals on their recently issued Fractured song. And to kick off the New Year, Last Night of Solace will release Kenopsia, a brand-new single presenting the band at their most intriguing and imaginative.

Cameron explains Kenopsia and the background on the song: “I wrote Kenopsia about having your trust broken by a close friend. Once you lose someone’s trust, especially the trust of someone you once really respected and trusted wholeheartedly it’s really hard to gain that trust back. The term Kenopsia refers to an eerie forlorn feeling of being in a busy area that’s now quiet. This concept serves as a metaphor where trust in someone close serves as the place that is usually busy and the forlorn atmosphere conveys the loss of trust.

With a new album in the works and a determination to go the distance, Last Night of Solace is ready to take on 2024 in nothing short of an epic way. The Last Night of Solace journey is just beginning, and they are excited to present their auditory visions to music fans everywhere.
