The Swansons at The Whisky – Live Review

The Swansons, The Whisky, West Hollywood, CA., January 19, 2025

On Saturday January 19, 2025 I went to the world-famous Whisky a Go-Go to see The Swansons who were the Headliner. The Swansons are a Country Rock band taking the world by storm. Their entire set was complete original songs, and the energy they brought to the stage kept the crowd engaged, and Angie’s energy is non comparable. She is a singer who can definitely hit those high notes, while adding some twirls and movement on the stage. Joe also adds to the vocals and adding that unique country twang with his guitar brings each song to a unique level.

Joe Alfaro was shredding up the Whisky stage on bass. His sound brought a unique effect to the entire set. Luke Saltarelli who was banging it up on the drums. His sound tied every song together.

The Swansons have been performing for many years, and all their songs are originals, and they have six albums out, and just released a new album Wake Up“, a very upbeat country twang with a solid rock beat. From each song they played they have a special way to draw you into their music. Angie and Joe are immensely talented, and you can tell that they love performing, and with every performance their energy level is unmatched.

I can’t wait to see them again later this week at NAMM doing a meet and greet at Highwire Daze booth. Definitely two of the most down to earth and sweetest people I have ever met.
