BRENDAN BAKER — SOARING VOCALS AND HEART‑FORWARD ALT‑POP INTENSITY

Brendan Baker, a classically trained vocalist, has been steadily carving out a space for himself within the Los Angeles music scene, bringing a heartfelt, purpose‑driven sound to stages across the city. Live performance is where he truly comes alive — and that electricity was immediate the moment he stepped onto the Hotel Ziggy stage.

He opened with a striking cover of Arctic MonkeysDo I Wanna Know?, a bold choice that instantly captured the room’s attention and set the tone for what was to come. From there, Baker unveiled two unreleased originals — Run Into You and Sunset — both showcasing his gift for introspective storytelling and his ability to forge a genuine emotional connection with listeners.

The set continued with a trio of songs from his The Rooftop Cassette EP: Out Of My Head, Broke The Mold, and I Don’t Think She Loves. Each track landed with impassioned clarity, revealing an artist fully in command of his craft. Mixed Signals and Pain Away followed, leaving a lasting impression with their raw honesty and soaring vocal delivery.

Brendan Baker delivered a beautifully cohesive and deeply felt performance — the kind that signals an artist on the cusp of something much bigger.

At Hotel Ziggy, that spark ignited instantly. Bam Rigby captivated the room from the opening refrains of Everything and Silhouette, commanding the space with effortless charisma. His vocals were expressive and dynamic, and in such an intimate venue, you could see his eyes scanning the crowd — making intentional, personal contact with nearly every listener.
