Hayden Charles at The Viper Room – Live Review

Hayden Charles at The Viper Room, West Hollywood, CA – June 20, 2026

It was another unforgettable night of Kelly McGarry and Pop Cautious Presents at the world‑famous Viper Room on the Sunset Strip — and on this electric Saturday evening, Hayden Charles and his band made their long‑awaited debut inside the hallowed walls of the iconic nightclub. The room buzzed with anticipation, and from the very first notes, it was clear the audience was about to witness something special.

Hayden and company launched straight into a stunning rendition of the Failure classic “Stuck On”, immediately setting the tone for a set that would be both nostalgic and forward‑thinking. What followed was a compelling collection of original songs, many pulled from Hayden’s recent full‑length release Metro Panic, beginning with the persuasive and emotionally charged refrains of “Killing Me.”

The originals kept coming, each one landing with precision and purpose. Tracks like “You Against You,” “Molasses,” and “Close The Door” hit hard, showcasing Hayden’s gift for crafting melodies that linger long after the final chord fades. A clever curveball arrived midway through the set with a spirited cover of “Death Cup” by Mom Jeans — a moment that allowed Hayden and his band to inject their own creative spin into a fan‑favorite anthem.

What truly elevates Hayden Charles as a live performer is the total package: dynamic vocals, easygoing charisma, and rapturously memorable songwriting. He commands the stage with the confidence of an artist on the rise, one clearly charting a course toward much bigger stages and even brighter spotlights.

Stay tuned for upcoming show announcements — and in the meantime, be sure to visit Hayden on Instagram and Spotify to discover one of the most exciting new talents emerging from the Los Angeles scene.
