Fire ‘N Ice at The Whisky – Live Review
Fire ‘N Ice, The Whisky, West Hollywood, CA., June 20, 2026
Fire ‘N Ice out of New Jersey sound like the Sunset Strip brought roaring back to life, and their return to West Hollywood proved exactly why they’re becoming one of the most talked‑about rising bands in hard rock. Opening for the legendary Dokken at the world‑famous Whisky A Go Go, the East Coast quartet delivered a performance so electrifying that even the most diehard Dokken fans couldn’t help but be swept up in the momentum.
The Whisky has always been a place where new discoveries happen — where a band you’ve never seen before suddenly becomes the one you can’t stop talking about. On this particular night, Fire ‘N Ice seized that legacy and ran with it, delivering a starmaking set that felt both timeless and urgently alive.

Fire ‘N Ice is a tight, scorching lineup of musicians, featuring the massive talents of John Torra on lead vocals and lead guitar, Marc Spyder on bass and backing vocals, Mike Gemini on drums, and newest member Sparrow on lead guitar. Together, they play with passion, precision, and a conviction that makes every song feel like an anthem. Their chemistry onstage is undeniable, and within the hallowed walls of The Whisky, they delivered a performance that felt both classic and completely of the moment.

If you missed Fire ‘N Ice on the Sunset Strip this time around, fear not — the band will be returning to The Whisky several times this year, opening for Steelheart on July 24th, Slaughter on August 28th, and Lynch Mob on December 27th. Do not miss this phenomenal band the next time they roll into town. Fire ‘N Ice are here to rock us all into a state of pure auditory bliss.
