Guitarist Adam Holland, founding member of class rock bands Valentine, Open Skyz, and a member of the Steve Augeri Band, is set to release his first solo instrumental album, “Rapture,” on April 5th on all major streaming platforms.

Teaming up with his longtime friend and bandmate, Gerard Zappa, Holland has crafted a musical soundtrack that reflects the impressive and diverse evolution of his own career – from heavy metal and hard rock to modern country and pop. “Rapture” incorporates musical genres and styles that his fans have come to expect and appreciate, including guitar-heavy anthems like “Idol Worship” and “What the Funk,” to the soul-stirring atmospheric tracks “Final Frontier” and “Tears Of” to “Pretty Good Acoustics,” a nod to Holland’s songwriting days in Nashville. “Up The Hill” features a blazing guest solo by none other than the Master of Shred, Mr. Shred himself, Derek Thomas.

Gerard and I started trading all kinds of ideas during the pandemic to keep our musical muscles working,” said Holland. “We didn’t set out to make an album but as we played and refined and recorded, we realized we wanted to share our collaborations with others.”

Rapture” is Holland’s debut solo album, demonstrating his life-long dedication to songwriting, playing and producing. With three major record deals, two major publishing deals, an MTV video, national tours, network television spots, and songs in a major motion picture, Adam Holland has had a prolific career in Music and shows no signs of slowing down.

Adam Holland is a founding member of Valentine in the ’80s (Warner Brothers/Reprise) and Open Skyz in the mid-’90s (RCA). He was signed to Warner Chappel Music as a songwriter during both these periods.

In the early 2000s, Holland continued his success as a staff writer for Murrah Music Publishing in Nashville, TN. Since 2009, he performs with the Steve Augeri Band around the world, collaborating with Augeri on several tracks for his critically acclaimed “Seven Ways Til Sunday” album released in 2023.
