Pull the Curtain delivered a punchy, emotionally charged set at Vans Warped Tour Long Beach on July 26, blending post-hardcore grit with pop-punk hooks that had early crowds fully locked in.

Taking the Shoreline Waterfront stage at 11:30 AM, Pull the Curtain kicked off with Glass Bones and Paper Skin, immediately setting a tone of raw vulnerability and melodic aggression. Their setlist leaned into fan favorites like Breathing Is the Hardest Part and The Sky Was Never on My Side, each track showcasing tight musicianship and impassioned vocals that cut through the morning haze.

Midway through, the band surprised the crowd with a high-energy cover of 3OH!3’s DONTTRUSTME, injecting a dose of Warped nostalgia that had the pit bouncing. Their performance of Good to Go (Going Nowhere Fast) was a standout moment—anthemic, cathartic, and perfectly timed for the Warped Tour’s 30th anniversary vibe.

The crowd response was strong despite the early slot, with fans singing along and a few even catching the set via livestream. While they weren’t one of the headliners, Pull the Curtain proved they belonged on that stage, offering a tight, emotionally resonant set that captured the spirit of Warped’s DIY ethos.

Verdict: A compelling mix of angst and melody, Pull the Curtain made their mark with a set that felt both intimate and explosive—an ideal fit for Warped’s return to Long Beach.
