Speak of the Devil at The Whisky – Live Review

Speak of The Devil, The Whisky, West Hollywood, CA., January 18, 2025

On Saturday January 18, 2025 I visited the world-famous Whisky a Go Go and saw this awesome rock band visiting from Canada.  The name of the band is Speak of the Devil and consists of three members Joe Party on drums, Jinx Stringer on guitar and vocals, and Chad Bechard on lead vocals. This trio arrived on stage with full energy and eagerness to perform and engage with the crowd.  Between Chad and Jinx both on vocals the songs blended well. They had a very distinctive Ska sound, with a touch of metal like Green Day meets Rob Zombie.

This trio of a rock band definitely brought their energy all the way from Canada, and they lit the Whisky a Go Go stage on fire. All three of them are pure rockers, and it shows in their stage presence. Their entire set was super unique, and it definitely kept the crowd engaged through their entire set. I was super glad I had the opportunity to catch their show, and can’t wait to see them again in the future.
