From First To Last’s return to 1720 felt like a full‑circle moment for a band that helped define mid‑2000s screamo. Fresh off their recent appearance at Warped Tour Long Beach 2026, the group arrived sharpened, hungry, and ready to debut their new era.
Their set ignited the room from the opening blast of “The One Armed Boxer vs. the Flying Guillotine”, with longtime members Matt Good, Travis Richter, and Matt Manning locking in like a unit reborn. But the night truly belonged to new vocalist Lil Lotus, whose arrival has already reshaped the band’s trajectory. Onstage, he proved exactly why FFTL tapped him to lead the next chapter—his delivery was razor‑tight, emotionally charged, and fully in command of the chaos around him.
The crowd erupted when the band launched into “Your Name In Red Ink,” their first single with Lotus and the centerpiece of this intimate release show. Hearing it live—just days after it hit streaming—felt like witnessing the spark of a new identity forming in real time.
Coming off Warped Long Beach’s massive energy and stepping into a packed warehouse, FFTL showed they’re not just back—they’re building something bigger, louder, and unmistakably theirs.
